Philippe Kalaf is a Venture Partner with a primary focus on open source technology. With a passion for startups and technology, Philippe has founded and managed multiple technology and real estate companies since his teens. He is now the founder and CEO of Collabora, a leading global Open Source consultancy based in Montreal.

In addition to running his own company, Philippe is also an angel investor, business mentor, coach, and advisor to projects and companies of interest. His investment interests span a wide range of industries, including mobile/embedded devices, smartTVs, IoT/cameras, the automotive space, AR/VR, and enterprise software.

Philippe earned a B.Eng. in Telecommunications from Polytechnic School of Montreal.
