Founder Krenar Komoni has a fascinating story - born in Kosovo, he came to the US alone at the age of 17 as a high school exchange student. He later met his wife, whose father had a trucking company. Krenar wanted to help them better track their vehicles, so he spent months building Tive in his basement.
Tive is now a global leader in supply chain and logistics visibility technology. Customers call it a game changer for managing shipments en route.
Their paper-thin Tive Tags log shipment temperature end-to-end, while their trackers monitor everything from humidity to light and shock.
The Series C funding round was led by WiL (World Innovation Lab) and Sageview Capital, with participation from AVP, RRE VEntures, Two Sigma Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Fifth Wall, Supply Chain Ventures, and Sorenson Capital.
